Since 1993, Dr. Shahar has been a Senior Physician in the Department of Allergy, Clinical Immunology & AIDS at the Rambam Medical Center. He is also an Assistant Lecturer at The B. Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa.
Dr. Shahar is a co-investigator for Israel in an NIH-Funded clinical study: Strategies for Management of Antiretroviral Therapy (SMART Study), 2005-2007.
