In June 2017, the Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited the prestigious award to the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov). The head of the audit team that conducted the audit said: "Ichilov has a world famous reputation owing to its medical team, and its infrastructures which are outstanding by international standards.
