- Doctor Troya received her medical diploma with honors in 1980 at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama. In 1986 finished her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at theDoctor Arnulfo Arias Madrid Metropolitan Complex Hospital of the Caja del Seguro Social. In 1987, she finished a sub specialization in Colposcopy and the Pathology of the Genital tract at the National Oncology Institute. Also, a sub specialization in Gynecological Video laparoscopy,in 1983. In 1995, attended a course in Advanced Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology in Cancun, Mexico. In 2003, finished a post graduated course in Genetics and Reproduction at theUniversity of Panama.
